Macquarie University Symposium
Macquarie University Symposium
In 2016, Macquarie hosted an Intercultural Symposium on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), funded by the Australia-Korea Foundation.
The event saw more than 30 school teachers, school administrators and teacher educators from Sydney, as well as science educators from Curtin University, Seoul National University and Ewha Womans University in Korea.
The Intercultural Symposium provided an exciting opportunity for attendees to discuss the new STEAM education initiatives in their respective countries. The contemporary approach to the STEAM Symposium meant that attendees were able to personally share ideas and possibilities with each other.
